2023 In Live Shows…
…and terrible concert photography.
I saw 12 shows this year, which doesn’t sound too impressive when you consider how many days there are in a year. That said, though, being a corporate drone whose nights aren’t typically free, I’m happy that I got to see as many as I did. It goes without saying that my goal will be to attend more shows in the upcoming new year. And maybe write about them.
Last night, I saw Botch at Union Transfer and the onslaught of metal-set-to-mathematical-irregularities that took place on that stage provided a perfect live show sendoff for 2023. The rush of euphoria I felt was palpable.
So, since I’m holding off on attending any shows for the remainder of 2023, here are some badly taken iPhone pics from a fan:
